Corner

At the corner of my studio, strands of hairs glue to clear monofilament began to add up little by little into a long, thick mass of Rapunzelle like tress. A silent call to be rescued yet quiet enough to stand unnoticed. The sculpture purposefully shows signs of wears and tears, worn out by time and the demand of life. This clearly is not a spontaneous gesture of impatient youth rather a very deeply felt yearning, an unfulfilled longing turning into a swan song. Corner is 9ft high by 10 inches wide.
